Former Big Brother Naija Season 11 housemate, Keivo, has addressed his disqualification from the reality show, admitting that he was wrong to resort to physical confrontation during his altercation with fellow housemate Tram.
Keivo’s time in the “Show Ya Sef” season came to an unexpected end following the incident, which was reviewed by Big Brother before the decision was announced.
In a message to his supporters, the former housemate said he had taken time to reflect on his actions and accepted responsibility for what happened.
“I’ve had some time to reflect on everything that happened and I take full responsibility for my actions. My emotions took the best of me. Regardless of how strongly I felt, physical confrontation is never a solution to any situation,” Keivo said.
The incident followed a disagreement between Keivo and Tram after Keivo confronted him over a black shirt. The exchange reportedly became heated before Big Brother intervened and instructed the housemates to freeze while the situation was reviewed.
Keivo was subsequently disqualified, ending his hopes of reaching the finale and competing for the season’s ₦160 million grand prize.
Following his exit, Keivo did not challenge the decision. Instead, he told his supporters that he intended to learn from the experience and use the controversy as an opportunity for personal growth.
“I will learn, become better, and do my very best to make you proud of Keivo the Challenger, the Competitor, the man of many talents, the son of Grace, the VICTOR,” he wrote.
He also expressed gratitude to his family, friends and supporters who backed him throughout his time on the show and voted for him in the competition.

Reflecting on his experience, Keivo said participating in BBNaija gave him the opportunity to tell his story and connect with millions of Nigerians.
“I came into Big Brother’s house hoping Nigerians would see who I am. I leave knowing that millions of people did,” he said.
His disqualification has generated discussions among viewers, with reactions focusing on the confrontation, the circumstances surrounding it and the punishment handed down by Big Brother.
Keivo, however, maintained that he was focused on moving forward rather than revisiting the details of his dispute with Tram.
He concluded his message by asking God for “mercy, wisdom, grace, and strength” as he begins a new chapter after his unexpected exit from the reality show.
“I trust that he has a purpose for every chapter, including this one. I will continue to trust him,” he said.
Keivo’s disqualification means he will not feature among the remaining housemates competing for a place in the BBNaija Season 11 finale, bringing his “Show Ya Sef” journey to an early end. For more updates, follow us on X.
