The Chairman of Isoko North Local Government Council of Delta State, Godwin Ogorugba, is set to distribute over 32,000 notebooks and writing materials to pupils in 43 public primary schools across the local government.

The distribution, which is set to begin a few days from now , is aimed at putting smiles on the faces of parents and guardians and ensuring no child stays out of school due to lack of learning materials.
Speaking on the initiative, the council chairman said his administration will not allow any child to be at home, while others are in school because their parents cannot afford notebooks, school bags, sandals, and writing materials.
He emphasized that his administration is committed to ensuring every child in Isoko North acquires basic education, noting that “for every single child to have a successful life and brighten future, he or she must have basic educational knowledge.”

Ogorugba urged all parents and guardians to send their children to school regularly as his educational team will be moving round to distribute the materials across all 43 public primary schools in the local government.
He also extended his appreciation to all Isoko North parents and guardians for their prayers and support for his administration.
The distribution of free notebooks and writing materials is part of the council’s effort to consolidate education as a key pillar of grassroots development.
