Nigeria’s Christiana Amaka Paul has emerged as the fourth-highest scorer at the 2026 African Senior Women’s Volleyball Nations Championship in Kenya.
The Nigerian opposite hitter accumulated 94 points during the tournament, including 76 successful attacks, as Nigeria finished ninth overall.
Amaka credited head coach Elishama Elam, the coaching staff and her teammates for their support and encouragement throughout the competition.
She said the guidance and confidence from the team helped her maintain her focus and deliver a strong individual performance for Nigeria.

Nigeria captain Ijeoma Ukpabi also featured prominently among the tournament’s leading scorers, finishing eighth with 86 points, including 75 successful attacks.
Maryam Ibrahim completed Nigeria’s representation in the top 10, ranking 10th with 74 points, of which 68 came from successful attacks.
The performances of the three Nigerian players provide a positive individual takeaway from the championship as the team looks ahead to the second phase of the 2026 CGC Volleyball Premier League.
