Nollywood actress and politician, Tonto Dikeh, has unveiled a new spiritual movement known as New Wine Prophetic Tabernacle (NWPT).

Dikeh announced the development on Sunday, through her Instagram page, describing NWPT as an interdenominational altar and a global movement of believers committed to experiencing what she described as the “raw power, purity, and presence of God.”
The movement takes its inspiration from Mark 2:22, which says: “And no one puts new wine into old wineskins.”
According to the actress, NWPT is intended to serve as a gathering place for Christians seeking deeper spiritual revival and transformation rather than what she described as lukewarm Christianity.
The statement announcing the movement said NWPT “exists as a dwelling place of His presence for those who refuse to settle for lukewarm Christianity and are hungry for genuine revival, fire, and transformation.”
Dikeh further outlined the vision of the movement as a global awakening of consecrated believers who would operate in the power, purity and presence of God, with the goal of transforming nations and advancing the Kingdom of Christ.

Its mission, according to the statement, includes establishing an interdenominational altar dedicated to prayer, revival and apostolic training.
The movement also aims to equip “watchmen,” activate spiritual gifts, encourage soul-winning and provide spiritual freedom to people through the power of the Holy Spirit.
Unlike conventional churches, Dikeh said NWPT would not operate as a traditional church.
“This is not a church; it is an intense gathering of those consecrated and equipped for the purposes of God,” the statement said, describing members as people set apart, refined by God’s presence and commissioned to advance His Kingdom.
NWPT is scheduled to hold its weekly fellowship every Friday at 6pm.
The unveiling comes months after Dikeh began signing several of her social media posts as “Ada El-Roi” and became increasingly involved with Pastor Jerry Eze’s NSPPD community.
Her growing public expression of faith has also coincided with noticeable changes in her dressing and lifestyle.
In December 2025, Dikeh publicly shared a testimony at a service at Streams of Joy International Church, where she spoke about what she described as her deliverance from smoking, alcohol addiction, masturbation and prolonged anger issues.
The actress revealed during the testimony that she started smoking at the age of 13 and said she had experienced healing from the struggles.
Dikeh, who entered politics in 2022 as a governorship running mate in Rivers State, had also opened up earlier in 2026, about her turbulent marriage to her former husband, Olakunle Churchill, a decade after their public separation.
The former couple later reconciled publicly, bringing an end to years of reported disagreements.
