The National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Prof. Nentawe Goshwe Yilwatda, marked his 58th birthday with healthcare interventions and the commissioning of projects at the Federal Medical Centre (FMC), Jalingo, Taraba State.
Rather than limiting the occasion to personal celebration, Yilwatda chose to use the milestone to support healthcare delivery and highlight the importance of service to humanity.

Speaking at the event, the Minister of Health and Social Welfare, Prof. Muhammad Ali Pate, commended Yilwatda for taking the celebration to the North-East and making healthcare a central part of the occasion.
Pate described health as a critical foundation for national development, stressing that the wellbeing and productivity of citizens are closely linked to the strength of the nation’s healthcare system.
He also appreciated the Taraba State Government, the National Assembly and residents of the state for supporting the intervention.
The host of the celebration, Dr. Aisha Adamu Mohammed, said the choice of FMC Jalingo reflected a commitment to medical excellence, improved healthcare delivery and service to humanity.
