The appointment comes as Liquidnitro Games seeks to strengthen its position in the global gaming industry by leveraging artificial intelligence to improve game production, live services, and market expansion while supporting, rather than replacing, creative development teams.

Key Highlights:

  • Liquidnitro Games appoints former Tencent Games Global CTO Cedrick Collomb as Chief Technology Officer.
  • Company recently secured $19.1 million in Series A funding, bringing total investment to $24.3 million.
  • Collomb will lead the company’s AI-driven technology strategy and platform development.
  • Liquidnitro aims to expand game production, live services, and global publishing using proprietary AI technologies.
  • Company workforce expected to exceed 200 employees by the end of the fiscal year.

Collomb brings nearly three decades of experience in the gaming and technology industry. Before joining Liquidnitro Games, he served as CTO of Tencent Games Global and previously held the same position at EA Mobile. His career also includes senior leadership roles at AMD, Pearson, Kabam, LucasArts, and Sony Computer Entertainment.

The appointment follows rapid growth at Liquidnitro Games, which has expanded to more than 140 developers and industry experts within two years and expects to surpass 200 employees by the close of the current financial year.

As CTO, Collomb will oversee the company’s long-term technology roadmap, with a focus on integrating artificial intelligence into every stage of game development while preserving human creativity.

Liquidnitro Games said its vision is to empower experienced developers with proprietary AI technologies that enable faster production, smarter decision-making, and improved player experiences rather than replacing creative talent.

The company’s technology ecosystem is built around its proprietary AI-powered operating platform, Geoplay, alongside Nitro Forge, Nitro Brain, and Nitro Blocks. These tools combine game development, live service management, and player analytics into a unified platform designed to improve game creation, launch, and long-term operations.

Commenting on the appointment, Liquidnitro Games Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer, Sandeep Kowdley, described Collomb as a transformational addition to the company’s leadership.

He said the company had invested heavily over the past two years in building an AI-based technology ecosystem that would define the future of game development, adding that Collomb’s expertise would help accelerate innovation and strengthen the company’s global competitiveness.

Collomb expressed confidence in Liquidnitro Games’ vision, saying the company understands that technology should enhance creativity rather than replace it.

According to him, the company’s AI solutions address long-standing challenges facing the gaming industry and have the potential to transform the entire game lifecycle, from development and launch to live operations and global scaling.

Liquidnitro Games said it will continue investing in its AI platform, particularly Geoplay, with deeper integration of agentic AI workflows to make game production more efficient, predictable, and commercially successful while giving creative teams greater freedom to innovate.

The company also plans to strengthen its presence in high-growth gaming markets, including India, the Middle East, North Africa, and Southeast Asia, positioning itself as a strategic development partner for major global publishers.
