The Imo State chapter of the Action Peoples’ Party (APP), has expressed deep sorrow over the passing of Okenze A. O. Nnadi, the traditional prime minister of Ulakwo Ancient Kingdom in Owerri North Local Government Area of Imo State, and father of the National Chairman of the party, Uchenna Nnadi.
Leading a high powered delegation on a condolence visit to the family residence of the deceased, the Imo State Chairman of the party, Ernest Njesi, on behalf of the State Working Committee conveyed the party’s heartfelt condolences to the national chairman and the entire Nnadi family over the painful loss.
This was contained in a statement issued on Wednesday, by the party’s state Publicity Secretary, Steve Nnadi and made available to newsmen in Owerri.
Njesi described the late Nnadi as a distinguished philanthropist, respected community leader, successful businessman, and an elder statesman whose life was marked by selfless service, integrity, and unwavering commitment to the development of humanity.
He noted that the deceased lived an exemplary life worthy of emulation and left behind a legacy that would continue to inspire generations.

He prayed that God would grant the bereaved family the strength, courage, and grace to bear the irreparable loss, while encouraging them to take solace in God, who gives life and calls every person home at His appointed time.
He also prayed for the peaceful repose of the soul of the departed elder, thanking God for using him to positively impact countless lives during his lifetime.
Responding on behalf of the family, the National Chairman of the APP, Uchenna Nnadi, expressed profound appreciation to the Imo State chairman, members of the State Working Committee, and the entire delegation for identifying with the family during their moment of grief.
Nnadi described his late father as a loving, humble, and compassionate man whose contributions to the family, Ulakwo Autonomous Community, and society at large remain invaluable.
He stated that his father was an irreplaceable pillar whose exemplary lifestyle earned him respect across different walks of life.
He assured the delegation that the family would continue to celebrate and preserve the remarkable legacy of their late patriarch, stressing that his father positively touched many lives through his generosity, wisdom, and dedication to humanity.
According to him, although his father passed on at the age of 77, he lived a fulfilled life, rose from humble beginnings, and truly came, saw, and conquered.
