  • Nigerian singer Bella Shmurda alleged he lost $4 million after purchasing what he described as a stolen property in Lagos.
  • The singer made the claim during an emotional Instagram Live session, where he appealed for public help.
  • He alleged that the seller disappeared after receiving the payment.
  • Bella Shmurda said he has contacted his lawyer to investigate the transaction and pursue legal action.
  • He did not disclose the identity of the alleged seller or the exact location of the property.

The “Cash App” crooner made the emotional claim during an Instagram Live session, during which he broke down in tears while appealing for help over the transaction.

According to the singer, he only discovered after making payment that the property allegedly did not belong to the individual who sold it to him.

“Nigeria, I need your help. I’m not doing okay right now. I spent $4 million of my own hard-earned money, only to find out I bought stolen property,” Bella Shmurda said during the livestream.

He further alleged that the seller disappeared after receiving the payment, leaving him uncertain about recovering the money.

“And now the seller has disappeared. Please, help me. Someone step in. I’ve got nothing left.

“I worked for years for this. I can’t lose $4 million like that,” he said.

Bella Shmurda disclosed that he had contacted his lawyer to investigate the matter and pursue appropriate legal action.

“I just contacted my lawyer for further investigation,” he added.

The singer, however, did not reveal the identity of the alleged seller or disclose the exact location and details of the property during the livestream.

As of the time of filing this report, the allegations had not been independently verified, and no law enforcement agency had confirmed receiving a complaint regarding the transaction.

Likewise, no individual has publicly responded to the claims.

The incident has since sparked widespread reactions on social media, with many fans expressing sympathy for the singer while urging him to pursue legal remedies and exercise greater caution in future property transactions.
