The final day of Jay-Z’s three-night concert at New York’s Yankee Stadium suffered a major setback after hundreds of ticketless fans allegedly bypassed security procedures and attempted to force their way into the venue, delaying the show by more than four hours.
The incident prompted organisers to temporarily shut all entrances to the stadium as security personnel worked to restore order and protect thousands of legitimate concertgoers.
Concert promoter Live Nation said large groups of people without valid tickets overwhelmed entry points, creating safety concerns for fans who had followed the proper admission process.
According to the organisers, all stadium gates were closed for an extended period before being cautiously reopened under heightened security measures.

The concert was originally scheduled to begin at 8:00 p.m. local time, but the disruption left hundreds of genuine ticket holders waiting outside while authorities addressed the security breach.
After the situation was brought under control, fans were admitted in phases, allowing the event to proceed.
Jay-Z eventually appeared on stage at about 12:15 a.m. on Monday, more than four hours later than planned.
Before beginning his performance, the American rap icon briefly explained to the audience that the delay resulted from security concerns following the attempted unauthorised entry into the venue.
The show marked the conclusion of Jay-Z’s three-night concert series at Yankee Stadium and his first major solo concert run since 2017.
Despite the delay, more than 40,000 fans remained at the stadium and stayed through the night to watch the performance after security officials successfully restored order.
