Reacting to the victory, Wikki Spikers coach Monday Dada credited the team’s success to thorough preparation and determination.

“It was nothing but hard work. We worked for it, we had a game plan and, by the grace of God, our plan worked for us. It was really difficult, but we thank God we got the result,” Dada said.

The coach also stressed the importance of his players using the league as a platform to attract opportunities with bigger clubs.

“You have to play for yourself. You have to perform very well so that bigger teams can notice you and you can move to greater heights. My dream is for my players to prosper and play for bigger teams in the future,” he added.
