Speaking after the match, Head Coach Uthman Mohammed said the victory was proof that the team belongs among the top contenders in Division One.
“It was a good game. Wikki Spikers gave their best, and so did we. Many people saw us as underdogs,” Mohammed said.
“I told them to watch out for our return. We won Division Two as champions without losing a set. No team took a set from us.”
The coach revealed that the squad underwent seven weeks of intensive camping ahead of the competition, focusing heavily on discipline, teamwork, and unity.
“What I have inculcated in the players is one spirit, one team, one goal. Volleyball is a collective game,” he added.
