Fresh controversy has erupted online following unconfirmed claims that a member of Burna Boy’s security team allegedly died after the widely discussed clash involving the singer and Michael Babatunde Adeyinka at Obi’s House nightclub in Lagos.
The rumour gained traction after social commentator Dr Fab, known online as a vocal supporter of Wizkid, alleged that Burna Boy’s “main bouncer” passed away following injuries linked to the April 7 altercation.
However, there has been no official confirmation from Burna Boy’s camp, police authorities, or any verified source regarding the alleged death.
The incident at Obi’s House had already sparked heated conversations online after viral videos showed a chaotic confrontation involving both camps. Reports claimed the clash escalated after a disagreement between Burna Boy and Michael Babatunde Adeyinka, popularly known as Ogbafia.
Following the altercation, DJ Tunez appeared to react on X with posts suggesting he survived the incident, including one reading, “THANKING GOD FOR LIFE.”
The drama further intensified when Burna Boy posted a mocking clip online, changing the lyrics of his song “Money Constant” from “Ogbafia dey my side” to “Ogbafia dey for ground,” a move many fans interpreted as a jab at DJ Tunez after the fight.
Several users on X weighed in on the rumours and the ongoing feud between supporters of Burna Boy and Wizkid.

@GossipMillNaija stated: “Fan wars don turn this thing into something else entirely. People should wait for facts before spreading death rumours.”
@BigHotbaby1 questioned the reports, writing: “If nobody from Burna’s camp has confirmed it, why are blogs already posting obituary-style tweets?”
