Interim Manchester United manager, Michael Carrick, has been shortlisted for the Premier League Manager of the Season award following his impressive turnaround at Manchester United.
Carrick, who took charge of the club in January after replacing former manager Ruben Amorim, has overseen a remarkable resurgence at Old Trafford, winning 10 of his 15 matches in charge.
The 44-year-old is among six managers nominated for the prestigious award alongside Mikel Arteta of Arsenal and Pep Guardiola of Manchester City, both of whom remain locked in a fierce Premier League title battle.
Also nominated are Andoni Iraola of AFC Bournemouth, Keith Andrews of Brentford FC, and Régis Le Bris of Sunderland AFC.

Carrick’s nomination comes after guiding Manchester United from seventh place to third position on the league table, securing a return to the UEFA Champions League.
Since his appointment on January 13, no Premier League side has collected more points than Manchester United, who have earned 33 points under his leadership.
Reports also suggest that Manchester United’s hierarchy are prepared to recommend Carrick for the permanent managerial role following his successful spell as caretaker boss.
