The Nigeria Customs Service has directed candidates shortlisted for the next phase of its 2025 recruitment exercise to update their personal details on the official recruitment portal ahead of the final screening and interview stage.
The service said all successful applicants from earlier stages of the recruitment process must complete the required update form before the deadline scheduled for 11:00 p.m. on Sunday, May 10, 2026.

In an official notice released by the service management, the NCS explained that information submitted by applicants would serve as their updated profiles during the final physical screening and interview exercise.
The agency urged candidates to provide accurate and verifiable information, warning that false declarations or incorrect details could lead to disqualification.

The Nigeria Customs Service also reaffirmed its commitment to conducting a free, fair and transparent recruitment process across the country.
The service warned applicants against making payments to individuals claiming to influence the recruitment exercise or responding to unofficial messages from fraudsters posing as recruitment officers.
According to the NCS, all recruitment information and updates would only be communicated through official channels.
Candidates were further advised to remain vigilant and disregard fake recruitment alerts circulating on social media and other unofficial platforms.
To assist applicants experiencing difficulties during the process, the service provided dedicated helpdesk lines available between 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., Mondays through Fridays.
The 2025 Nigeria Customs recruitment exercise has continued to attract nationwide attention, with thousands of applicants seeking positions within the agency.
