The Adamawa State Command of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) has arrested nine suspects during a security raid in Mubi and its environs, in a renewed push to tackle criminal activities in the area.
The operation, conducted on May 4, 2026, was carried out following a directive by Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, who ordered a clampdown on identified criminal hideouts across the Mubi metropolis.
State Commandant Idris Dahiru Bande, who led the operation, deployed a team of trained operatives to locations previously flagged for illegal activities. The raid resulted in the arrest of nine individuals suspected of involvement in criminal acts.
