The Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Police Command has announced that the written examination for applicants in the ongoing police constable recruitment exercise will be conducted from April 28 to April 30, 2026.
In a statement issued on Sunday, the Police Public Relations Officer, SP Josephine Adeh, said the examination, organised by the Police Service Commission (PSC) in collaboration with the Nigeria Police Force (NPF), will commence at 7:00 a.m. daily at designated centres nationwide.
According to the statement, applicants in the FCT will sit for the examination at the Police Officers’ Wives Association (POWA) Secondary School, Abuja.
The command noted that only candidates who successfully passed the earlier physical and credentials screening would be eligible to participate in the examination.
It directed qualified applicants to visit the official recruitment portal to print their examination invitation cards, which contain details of their specific date, time, and venue.
“The FCT Police Command wishes to inform the general public, particularly applicants in the ongoing police constable recruitment exercise, that the written examination has been scheduled to hold from Monday 28th to Wednesday 30th April, 2026,” the statement said.
Candidates were advised to report promptly at their designated centres and come along with required materials, including a writing pen, their National Identification Number (NIN) slip bearing a clear photograph, and the printed examination invitation card.
The command also specified a strict dress code for the exercise: white T-shirt, white shorts, white canvas shoes, and white socks.
