Nollywood actor Tobi Makinde has dismissed rumours suggesting a rift between him and actress-filmmaker Funke Akindele, clarifying that there is no conflict between them.
Speaking during an interview with BBC Pidgin, Makinde described the speculation as a creation of social media narratives rather than reality.
According to him, nothing unusual has occurred between the two, stressing that online platforms often fabricate stories and assign roles to individuals without factual basis.
He noted that his relationship with Akindele predates social media and cannot be defined—or dissolved—by online discussions.
