Actor Michael Patrick, known for his appearance in the hit HBO series Game of Thrones, has died at the age of 35 following a battle with Motor Neurone Disease.
The news was confirmed by his wife, Naomi Sheehan, who shared the heartbreaking announcement on Instagram. She described the family as “broken-hearted” over his passing and paid tribute to her late husband’s vibrant spirit and remarkable personality.
Patrick, affectionately known as “Mick,” was diagnosed with motor neurone disease in February 2023. The progressive condition affects nerve cells responsible for controlling vital functions such as breathing, swallowing, speaking, and movement.
