Siminalayi Fubara has attributed the enduring success of Nigeria Liquefied Natural Gas Limited to the Public-Private Partnership (PPP) model adopted by the Federal Government in collaboration with multinational oil companies. The Governor made the remarks while receiving the new Managing Director and CEO of NLNG, Adeleye Falade, during a courtesy visit at the Government House in Port Harcourt.

- Pledges Rivers State government support for continued success.
- NLNG CEO Falade reaffirms commitment to host communities and economic empowerment programs.
According to Gov. Fubara, NLNG’s joint ownership structure—NNPC 49%, Shell Gas B.V. 25.6%, Total LNG Nigeria Ltd 15%, and Eni International 10.4%—enables shared expertise, risk, and operational efficiency, a strategy that has allowed the company to thrive for nearly three decades.
“I’m very proud to say that if there is one establishment that has shown resilience and survived in the face of political issues in this country, it is the NLNG. The reason is simple: government has no business in business. Leave operations to experts while government supervises compliance and standards. That is why NLNG continues to succeed,” he stated.
