An All Progressives Congress (APC) state assembly aspirant for the Isoko South Constituency 1, Chief Jubilant Igelige, has described the recent endorsement of Senator Joel-Onowakpo Thomas, as the best option for Isoko nation.
Speaking to journalists at the 6th edition of the Oleh United Musicians 2026 Peace Festival, he commended leaders of the Isoko Nation for endorsing the incumbent senator for re-election in 2027.
He pointed out that Sen. Joel Onowakpo’s endorsement was the second in the history of the Isoko Nation, and described the senator as a lawmaker who has made invaluable contributions to the upliftment of the Isoko people.
“For that reason, the lifting of Senator Joel Onowakpo’s hand is symbolic.
“The Isoko Development Union’s (IDU) endorsement is spiritual and heavenly approved. That means the president general has not committed any crime that could lead to his resignation because it was a collective decision,” Igelige disclosed.
