Nollywood actress Juliana Olayode has shared insights about her rekindled friendship with fellow actress Funke Akindele, expressing that she spent years praying for their relationship to be restored.
In an interview with media personality Chude Jideonwo, Olayode emphasized that her wish for reconciliation stemmed from a heartfelt desire to mend their personal connection rather than any professional aspirations.
“I am incredibly thankful to God that we are best friends again. For all those years, I prayed for God to bring our friendship back.
“I wasn’t focused on working with her again; I just wanted to have a genuine relationship with her,” she stated.
Olayode highlighted that Akindele had been a significant influence in her life, especially during tough times, making the repair of their relationship particularly meaningful to her.

Since their reconciliation, Olayode remarked that their bond has become even stronger, describing their renewed friendship as close, joyful, and a powerful example of how forgiveness and time can heal fractured relationships.
