The All Progressives Congress has firmly rejected reports claiming it has fixed prices for expression of interest and nomination forms ahead of the 2027 general elections, describing the publication as false and misleading.
In a statement released on Saturday, the party’s National Publicity Secretary, Felix Morka, said the report did not originate from any official source of the party and should be treated as fabrication.
According to the APC, no decision has been taken on the sale or pricing of nomination forms for the 2027 elections, contrary to what has been widely circulated in some quarters.
“To be clear, no decision or announcement has been made on the sale or pricing of forms for the 2027 elections,” the statement read, stressing that the claim exists only in the imagination of its originators.
The party cautioned against the spread of unverified political information, noting that such reports risk misleading members of the public and creating unnecessary tension within the political space.

It further advised party faithful, media organisations and the wider public to rely strictly on official communication channels for accurate updates regarding its activities and preparations for 2027.
The rebuttal comes amid heightened political speculation as parties begin early positioning ahead of the next general election cycle, with analysts warning that misinformation could shape public perception if left unchecked.
The APC reaffirmed its commitment to transparency in its processes, assuring that any decision concerning nomination forms or electoral preparations would be formally announced through recognised platforms.
