The Lagos State government has entered into a partnership with Estar, a digital education organisation, to enhance learning through the deployment of modern technology in public schools across the state.
Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu disclosed the development on Monday via his official X account, noting that the collaboration will introduce digital learning platforms and supporting infrastructure in both primary and secondary schools.
The governor said the initiative is designed to provide students with access to curriculum-aligned tools that promote essential skills such as critical thinking, communication, and effective decision-making.

He added that the programme would also help improve students’ reading ability, confidence, and overall classroom engagement.
Gov. Sanwo-Olu further explained that the government plans to invest in teacher training to ensure educators can effectively utilise the new digital tools and deliver more interactive lessons.
The partnership, he said, reflects the state’s commitment to preparing students for future opportunities while improving learning outcomes across the education system.
