A public dispute has intensified between former Aviation Minister Femi Fani-Kayode and veteran journalist Dele Momodu, with both figures trading sharp criticisms over political differences.
The latest exchange followed comments attributed to Momodu, which Fani-Kayode strongly rejected. In his response, the former minister denied any attempt to realign politically with former Vice-President Atiku Abubakar, noting that he left the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in 2021 and questioning the basis of the claims made against him.
Fani-Kayode also defended President Bola Tinubu, dismissing comparisons between the current administration and past military regimes. He pointed to ongoing international engagements by the president as evidence of active governance and leadership.
