Edo State Governor, Monday Okpebholo, has inspected four major road construction projects currently ongoing in Edo Central Senatorial District.
The projects inspected by the governor include the Uromi–Agbor Road, Ukpenu Road, Ujoelen Road and Illeh Road.
Gov. Okpebholo, who visited the sites alongside government officials and contractors handling the projects, assessed the level of work done and urged the contractors to ensure quality delivery.
He said the inspection was part of the state government’s effort to monitor ongoing infrastructure projects and ensure that they are completed according to specification and within the stipulated timeframe.

The governor reiterated his administration’s commitment to improving road infrastructure across Edo State to enhance connectivity and support economic activities in the various communities.
Contractors at the sites briefed the governor on the progress of work and assured him that the projects would be completed as scheduled.
The road projects are part of the ongoing infrastructure development initiatives of the Edo State government aimed at improving transportation and easing movement for residents in Edo Central and surrounding areas.
