A frontline aspirant for the Delta State House of Assembly, Isoko South Constituency I, Engr. Ichehono Akpobome Ejeje, has congratulated Chief Solomon Arenyeka on his emergence as Chairman of the All Progressives Congress in Delta State.
In a statement issued on Tuesday, Ejeje also extended congratulations to other members of the newly elected state executive committee, describing their emergence as a significant milestone for the party in the state.
He commended Governor Sheriff Oborevwori and party leaders for what he called the successful conduct of the APC congresses that led to the inauguration of the Arenyeka-led executive. According to him, the peaceful and orderly nature of the congresses reflected growing unity and internal stability within the party’s Delta chapter.
“On behalf of my family and my political family, I congratulate our new state Chairman of our great party, Chief Solomon Arenyeka, on his successful election,” Ejeje said.

The Isoko South Constituency 1 aspirant expressed confidence in the capacity of the new leadership to reposition the APC for stronger performance in future elections. He urged party officials to focus on grassroots mobilisation, reconciliation among members, and strategic planning as preparations gather pace for the 2027 general elections.
Ejeje further called on the new executive to work towards the re-election of President Bola Tinubu and Governor Oborevwori, alongside other APC candidates, in the next electoral cycle.
He said sustained unity, discipline and collective commitment would be crucial in delivering victory for the party across Delta State, particularly in key constituencies such as Isoko South.
Political observers note that the APC’s internal consolidation in Delta may shape the balance of power in the state ahead of 2027, as aspirants intensify consultations and build alliances within the party structure.
