Nollywood actress Sarah Martins has shared her thoughts on her falling out with influencer King Mitchy during the ongoing online donation dispute involving activist VeryDarkMan.
In a detailed Instagram post, Sarah recounted how Mitchy blocked her on all social media platforms after Seyi Tinubu and his associates donated N20 million to support her non-governmental organization during the KAI incident.
Sarah noted that Mitchy had followed her just weeks prior to the incident and had publicly commended her charitable work.
However, things reportedly changed once the financial aid was received.
“Yes, King Mitchy blocked me everywhere right after S.T. offered his philanthropic support to my NGO during the KAI incident,” she stated.
She explained that when KAI operatives allegedly poured hot oil on her while she was cooking for charity, Tinubu and his friends provided N20 million to help her secure a better venue for her work.
Sarah also described an uncomfortable moment at actress Toyin Abraham’s movie premiere, where Mitchy seemingly scrutinized her, ignored her greeting, and walked away.
“I felt very embarrassed, but I remained composed,” she said, emphasizing that she chose not to harbor resentment.

Despite the conflict, Sarah urged Nigerians to forgive Mitchy, suggesting that her recent behavior might be influenced by depression.
This comes after Mitchy criticized VeryDarkMan for allegedly holding onto NGO donations for years without completing any visible projects.
In response, Mitchy asserted that she successfully renovated a school in just six days and challenged VeryDarkMan to provide ₦50 million to renovate four schools, escalating the social media confrontation.
