Nollywood actor Uzor Arukwe has responded to allegations connecting him to the reported marital issues between former Big Brother Naija stars Bambam and Teddy A.
Speculation about the couple’s relationship surfaced after observant fans noticed that both had unfollowed each other on social media, prompting concerns about possible trouble in their marriage. However, Bambam later appeared to calm the rumours by posting a photo in which her wedding ring was clearly visible.
The controversy escalated when an X (formerly Twitter) user, identified as Stay Wicked, claimed that Bambam’s marriage had allegedly ended due to a pregnancy involving Arukwe. The post further alleged that Teddy A became aware of the supposed situation through a leaked conversation.
The claims, alongside other offensive remarks made by the user, sparked widespread reactions and debate online.
Addressing the accusations, Arukwe firmly denied any romantic involvement with Bambam, stressing that their relationship is strictly professional. He described the allegations as false, malicious, and damaging.
The actor revealed that the individual behind the X account had been identified and warned that spreading defamatory claims could carry serious legal consequences.

Without mentioning the account directly, Arukwe stated that he intends to pursue the matter to serve as a deterrent against similar conduct on social media.
“A specific account has been identified for spreading false rumours and baseless accusations about me and my professional interactions with another colleague in the industry,” he said.
“I refuse to give such accounts the attention they seek, but believe me when I say that individual will be made an example of so others learn to respect boundaries and stop chasing clout at the expense of someone else’s reputation.”
Arukwe urged social media users to act responsibly and refrain from circulating unverified claims that could harm reputations, families, and careers.
