The Rivers State Government has approved the appointment of five new Permanent Secretaries in the state civil service.
The approval was given by Governor of Rivers State, Sir Siminalayi Fubara, according to a Government Special Announcement issued by the Head of the Rivers State Civil Service, Dr. (Mrs.) Inyingi Brown on Tuesday evening February 10, 2026.
Those appointed are Dr. Vincent Worgu Wachukwu, Cordelia Uwuma Eke, Ifeanyi Anthony Ogboma, Dr. Mina Gogo Jim-Jaja, and Henry Uzor.

The announcement stated that the appointments take immediate effect as part of ongoing efforts to strengthen administrative efficiency and enhance service delivery across ministries, departments, and agencies of government.
It further disclosed that the newly appointed Permanent Secretaries will be sworn in by the Governor on Wednesday, February 11, 2026.”
