The family of the emerging singer Ifunanya Nwangene, known as Nanyah, has shared the official burial plans following her unexpected death due to a snakebite.
The 26-year-old reportedly died at her home in Abuja on January 31, 2026, after being taken to a hospital.
Kingsley Nwangene, Nanyah’s brother, shared her official obituary on Instagram (@official_kaybaba1), detailing the dates and locations for the memorial service, requiem mass, and burial.

His post, titled: “Till I see you again,” has elicited a wave of sorrow and condolences from her fans.
The burial rites in Lagos is set for February 10, 2026, at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Abule Oshun, Dansa, starting at 4 pm.
A requiem mass will take place at 6 pm at the same location, providing an opportunity for friends, colleagues, and fans to pay their final respects.
