A Bayelsa State-based blogger, and spiritualist, Bodmas Kemepadei has denied complicity in the death of a young boy in the Amassoma community in the Southern Ijaw Local Government Area of the state.
Findings showed that following the death threat made by the deceased on his life and that of his family members, Kemepadei traced the young boy to the Amassoma community, effected a citizen’s arrest of the deceased and handed him to the police following a verbal exchange on social media.
Investigations revealed that during the hot exchange between the two bloggers, the deceased was reported to have threatened to shoot Kemepadei and his family members with an AK- 47 to test the potency of his traditional worship.
But Kemepadei, while reacting to the viral claims against him, told newsmen that he only effected a citizen’s arrest against the deceased and handed him over to the police over the alleged threat to his life.
