Popular TikTok personality and content creator Habeeb Hamzat, widely known as Peller, has announced his decision to withdraw from university barely two days after revealing that he had gained admission to study law at a Lagos-based institution.
In a voice note that has since gone viral on social media, the influencer said he has no plans to continue with the programme for now, citing dissatisfaction with the academic routine and the absence of immediate financial rewards.
Peller expressed frustration over the prospect of spending long hours in lectures without earning income, describing the experience as unappealing.
He said the idea of sitting in class for about seven hours daily to take notes and listen to lectures did not align with his current priorities.
“Am I really going to sit in class for seven hours, writing and listening, and not making any money? No way,” he said in the recording.

He also noted that many of his classmates were significantly older than him, a factor he said made him reconsider his decision to pursue higher education at this stage of his life.
“When I got to school, I noticed that most people were older than me. I feel like I need to be 30 or even 40 before going back,” he added.
Peller concluded by saying he feels mentally exhausted and needs time away from the classroom environment, indicating that a return to formal education may only happen much later in his life.
