Nollywood actress and philanthropist Tonto Dikeh has revealed that she has reconciled with her ex-husband, Olakunle “Churchill” Oladunni, after nearly 10 years of public disputes and separation.
In a detailed post on her Instagram account, Dikeh described the reconciliation as a divine intervention that has brought peace following years of animosity, poor communication, and legal battles.
She emphasized that this renewed relationship was not the result of human efforts but rather stemmed from faith, humility, and persistent prayer.
Dikeh noted that anger has been replaced by peace, and respect and understanding have been restored between them.
“After 19 long years of public conflicts, deep wounds, broken communication, bitterness, and pain, God intervened,” she wrote, adding that what seemed impossible has been healed through mercy.
Dikeh explained that their reconciliation was largely motivated by spiritual growth and love for their child, highlighting that the journey involved forgiveness and obedience to God.
She expressed gratitude to Churchill for choosing peace and embracing what she referred to as God’s guidance.
The actress also took the opportunity to encourage others facing similar personal struggles not to lose hope, asserting that challenging situations can still be redeemed through patience, prayer, and faith.
“To anyone in the position I once was—tired, hurt, and misunderstood—your story is not over,” she wrote.
She prayed that their renewed relationship would be grounded in grace, mercy, and divine protection, calling it a testament to God’s unwavering love.
Dikeh referred to the reconciliation as “10 years in one day,” describing it as a miracle.
Tonto Dikeh and Olakunle Churchill married in 2015, but their marriage ended less than two years later amid significant public controversy, legal disputes, and counter-accusations.
The former couple share a son, King Andre Churchill, whose custody and welfare had been contentious issues for a long time.
This reconciliation represents a major shift in one of Nigeria’s most closely followed celebrity separations.
