A leading political pressure group in Ndokwa land, NdokwaForward, has applauded Delta State Governor, Rt. Hon. Elder Sheriff Oborevwori, for lifting the suspension of the Ndokwa representative on the Delta State Oil Producing Areas Development Commission (DESOPADEC), Dr Charles Olise.
In a statement jointly signed by Hon. (Barr.) Sam Osasa, Dr George Ugbomah, and Chief Isaac Onyesom, the group described the governor’s decision as timely, magnanimous, and reflective of his commitment to fairness, forgiveness, and inclusive governance.
NdokwaForward said the reinstatement has been warmly received across Ndokwa communities, noting that the decision underscores Governor Oborevwori’s dedication to justice, reconciliation, and equitable representation of all ethnic nationalities in Delta State.
The group expressed appreciation to the governor for heeding the appeals of the Ndokwa people and reaffirmed its unwavering loyalty and support for his administration, particularly in advancing the MORE Agenda for the development and prosperity of the state.
NdokwaForward also commended Ndokwa sons and daughters, leaders, and stakeholders who intervened through constructive engagement and peaceful advocacy, describing their efforts as instrumental in promoting unity, fairness, and harmony.

Special recognition was accorded to the Deputy Governor of Delta State, Sir Monday Onyeme, FCA, whom the group described as a proud son of Ndokwa. It praised his fatherly guidance, consistent support, and effective representation of Ndokwa interests at the highest levels of governance.
The group welcomed Dr Olise back to office and urged him to approach his duties with renewed dedication, humility, and commitment to the development of Ndokwa land and Delta State.
NdokwaForward concluded by commending Governor Oborevwori for his exemplary leadership, stressing that the people of Ndokwa remain firmly aligned with his vision for a stronger, united, and more prosperous Delta State.
