The Executive Assistant to the Delta State Governor on Education Monitoring, Comrade Ovie Umuakpo, has brought festive cheer to Isoko North Local Government Area after hosting a well attended Yuletide party where food items and cash gifts were shared with over 1,000 beneficiaries.
The colourful Christmas celebration took place in Aradhe, Umuakpo’s hometown, drawing supporters, political allies, and community members from across the local government area. At the event, 10kg bags of rice and cash gifts were distributed to beneficiaries drawn from various wards and communities, reflecting a broad based outreach that cut across party and social lines.
As part of the celebration, Comrade Umuakpo also presented 150 wrappers to members of his female support group as a gesture of appreciation for their loyalty, mobilisation efforts, and continued commitment to his political vision.
The event attracted a large turnout of political stakeholders, including members of the APC and PDP caretaker committees from the 13 wards in Isoko North, members of the Oghenewegba Political Movement, Isoko Patriots, the Ovie Ladies Forum, and beneficiaries from Ellu, Aradhe, and Ovrode wards.
Addressing the gathering, Umuakpo thanked God for life and blessings, describing the Yuletide season as a time for sharing, compassion, and strengthening communal bonds. He expressed deep appreciation to Delta State Governor, Rt Honourable Sheriff Francis Oborevwori, for retaining him in office despite recent political realignments, noting that the Governor has continued to demonstrate inclusive leadership and a strong commitment to the development of Delta State.

He commended Governor Oborevwori for what he described as significant progress recorded across the state and urged his supporters to remain steadfast in backing the administration to ensure the delivery of more dividends of democracy to the people.

Umuakpo also paid tribute to his long time friend and ally, Engineer Ashakah Orobosa Uzuazomaro, for his consistent support, and called on his supporters to rally behind Uzuazomaro’s aspiration to represent Isoko North in the Delta State House of Assembly in 2027.
Several dignitaries graced the occasion, including Engineer Ashakah Orobosa Uzuazomaro, Chief Security Officer of Tantita Security Services Nigeria Limited; Sir Blessing Obomovo, a leading aspirant for Isoko North and South Federal Constituency; and Chief Edward Efekpokpo, President General of Aradhe Community, among other prominent figures.
The Yuletide party featured goodwill messages, cultural performances, and a renewed call for unity, grassroots mobilisation, and sustained support for progressive leadership in Isoko North and Delta State.
