Aspirants seeking to fly the presidential flag of the Zenith Labour Party (ZLP) in the 2023 election have to pay N23 million to obtain expression of interest and nomination forms.
According to the party, aspirants are to pay N5 million for Expression of Interest and N18 million for Nomination Forms The Trumpet gathered.
According to the National Secretary of the party, Comrade Yahaya Makama, the National Working Committee of
the Zenith Labour Party (ZLP) after a meeting on Thursday approved the sale of nomination forms to aspirants wishing to contest the 2023 general elections.
Governorship aspirants are to pay N2 million for Expression of Interest and N10,000,000 for Nomination Forms
while those aspiring for Senate seats are to pay N500,000 for Expression of Interest and N1,500,000 for Nomination Forms.
House of Representatives aspirants are to pay N200,000 for Expression of Interest and N500,000 for Nomination
Form while State Assembly aspirants will pay N100,000 for Expression of Interest and N250 000 for Nomination Form.

Speaking on the low cost of forms, the party scribe said “the reduction of the nomination fees is to allow credible
Nigeria’s who are popular but hindered by high Nomination fees charged by Political Parties to participate.
“They now have the opportunity to use a platform that is pocket friendly in their quest to serve.
“Youths, women and people living with Disabilities are to obtain their Nominations forms Free.
“The Zenith Labour Party is a Gender-sensitive Political Party and we believe in the inclusiveness of women and youths in the governance of the Country. Women and youths now have a very good opportunity to actualize their political dreams.
“We should all move away from the social media politics to practical grassroots politics to enable us to bring the positive change that we all desire in our country.”
