Firstpower announces planned power outage in parts of Anambra

The Management FirstPower Electricity Distribution Limited (FPEDL) has announced that there will be a planned power outage on Sunday, December 7, 2025, from 10:00am to 1:00pm.

This is to enable the Transmission Company of Nigeria (TCN) crew to bring in its TR13 60MVA transformer and reconfigure the outgoing feeders at the Onitsha Transmission Station (TS).

To achieve this, the MOBITRA 40MVA & 45MVA transformers and the 1T1 100MVA 132/33KV transformer will be opened to create a safe working space for the crew.

As a result of this, the following 33KV feeders will be affected: Army Barracks, Awada,Obosi, Umunya, Juddy Bolema, Nnewi Oba, Nnewi Industrial, Ossomala, 3-3, Niccus and Ogidi; including Nwaziki 11KV, and Woliwo 11KV feeders.

Consequently, all customers served by the affected feeders will be without electricity supply during the period of the exercise

FPEDL assures her customers of its commitment to providing satisfactory services.
