Bashorun said the programme is a structured development effort that provides graduates with the chance to gain practical experience in essential operational and business areas.

He mentioned that participants would benefit from mentorship and guidance from experienced industry experts, as well as exposure to both fieldwork and office settings within Energia’s main operations and the wider oil and gas value chain.

He emphasized that these efforts reflect the company’s dedication to cultivating the next generation of industry leaders.

“At Energia, we understand that the future of our sector depends on today’s young professionals.

“This programme represents our investment in Nigeria’s most talented individuals, equipping them with practical skills, exposure, and the confidence needed to succeed in a rapidly changing energy environment,” he stated.

Additionally, Tope Daramola, the firm’s human resources general manager, highlighted the programme’s significance in preparing participants for their careers and establishing a sustainable talent pipeline.

Daramola explained that the aim is to offer young Nigerians not only work experience but also a foundation for fulfilling careers.

“Through mentorship, collaboration, and ongoing learning, our trainees will cultivate the skills and values that embody Energia’s culture of excellence and innovation,” he remarked.

The statement added that the programme is open to graduates who hold at least a Second-Class upper degree in fields such as engineering, geosciences, business, or finance, or those with a minimum of a second-class upper or second-class lower (with a master’s distinction or higher).

Applicants must have completed their National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) within the past two years.

The statement added that the initiative reinforces the firm’s vision to become Africa’s leading provider of reliable and sustainable energy, driven by excellence, integrity, and a commitment to human capital development.

“Interested applicants are encouraged to visit our website for complete details about the program and to submit their applications. The application deadline is December 12, 2025,” Daramola stated.
