The bandits who abducted 38 worshippers from the Christ Apostolic Church (CAC) in Eruku, located in the Ekiti Local Government Area of Kwara State, are said to be demanding a ransom of N100 million for each individual.
A survivor, respected community leader and Olori Eta of Eruku, Chief Olusegun Olukotun confirmed this information, noting that four of his relatives are among those kidnapped.
He mentioned that the kidnappers have contacted community members, specifically requesting N100 million for each of the 38 victims, which has increased anxiety and concern within the community.

During the attack at 6:06 pm, he managed to escape with one family member through a church window.
The attack, which claimed several lives and left many injured, has thrown the community into mourning.
