Former Deputy President of the Senate, Senator Ovie Omo-Agege, has condemned the killing of the acting Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ethiope East Local Government Area of Delta State, Chief Ese Idisi.
Idisi was murdered on Friday, November 14, 2025, by unknown gunmen in what has been described as a political assassination.

“I am shocked and deeply saddened by the brutal murder of our acting local government chairman in Ethiope East,” he said.
“This act of violence is a stark reminder of the insecurity and lawlessness that has become a menace in our state.”
