A statement from the office of Senator Ned Munir Nwoko has addressed the circulation of medical documents said to concern Regina Daniels, noting that the reports in the public domain originated from genuine hospital records but were not released by any medical institution. The statement explained that the facilities involved acknowledged the reports as authentic but expressed concern over how they were leaked, since patient confidentiality prevents them from publishing such material.
According to the communication team, the documents outline the results of a toxicology review and related evaluations that identified several substances at levels described as dangerous. The statement also referenced a report from Nizamiya Hospital dated 3 October, which recorded Regina’s admission in an unconscious state after a drug-related emergency. These details were presented as part of a pattern consistent with earlier findings.
The Senator’s office further claimed that rehabilitation efforts had been hampered by interference from some of Regina’s siblings, alleging that they encouraged behaviour that made structured treatment difficult. The statement described this as a major obstacle to her recovery and one reason previous attempts at private intervention did not succeed.
As questions continue to arise over the Senator’s insistence on continued therapy, the statement said his determination stems from concern for Regina’s wellbeing and the need for stability, especially for the sake of her young children. It described her recent public behaviour as a sign of vulnerability and argued that she requires support, protection, and uninterrupted medical guidance.
The message concluded with a call for consistent treatment and a halt to actions said to undermine rehabilitation efforts. It stressed that the leaked documents speak for themselves and repeated that the hospitals did not release them. The Senator’s office maintained that Regina deserves a clear path to regain her health and stability.
