The Delta State Coordinator of the Tinubu Torchbearers Initiative (TTBI), Minnie Igbrude, has called on members of the organization to strengthen unity, collaboration, and grassroots mobilization in advancing the ideals of good governance as championed by President Bola Tinubu and Governor Sheriff Oborevwori.

Igbrude made the call while addressing members and coordinators of the group from the 25 local government areas of Delta State during a strategic meeting of the group held in Asaba.

She commended the dedication and solidarity of members toward the group’s vision and emphasized the need for sustained efforts in communicating the achievements and people-oriented programmes of both the federal and state governments to the people at the grassroots.

The state coordinator said the body remains committed to promoting the ‘Renewed Hope Agenda’ of President Tinubu and the ‘MORE Agenda’ of Gov. Oborevwori, adding that both leaders share a common focus on inclusive development and empowerment.

Reaffirming her readiness to provide purposeful leadership, Igbrude assured that every ward and unit in the state would be actively involved in the activities of the organization, in line with the strategic direction of the National Leader of the Tinubu Torchbearers Initiative, Mary Idele.

She praised both administrations for their commitment to women’s empowerment, highlighting financial support programmes for small and medium enterprises, entrepreneurial training, and other initiatives aimed at improving the lives of women and traders across Delta State.

Igbrude also congratulated Idele, who is the National Women Leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC), on her two years in office, describing her as “a woman of purpose and vision” who has remained steadfast in advancing women’s empowerment and promoting the 35% affirmative action for women under Tinubu’s ‘Renewed Hope Agenda’.

She urged members of the organisation to remain steadfast, dedicated, and proactive in promoting the ideals of the group, assuring that the group would continue to play a vital role in mobilizing support for the transformative policies and programmes of both President Tinubu and Gov. Oborevwori.
