The National Basketball Association (NBA), the National Basketball Players Association (NBPA), and Dapper Labs have officially launched the 2025–26 season of NBA Top Shot, introducing a new wave of digital collectibles that blend star power, technology, and fandom like never before.
The season rollout, announced in New York on October 21, 2025, features headline partnerships with basketball’s rising stars, Cooper Flagg, Yang Hansen, and other top rookies, who will debut exclusive digital autograph inscriptions and ultra-rare 1-of-1 signature collectibles. The new lineup also brings interactive designs, dynamic parallels, and enhanced pack experiences that give fans a deeper, more immersive way to celebrate the game.
Since its launch in 2020, NBA Top Shot has transformed how fans experience basketball highlights, turning real-time plays into blockchain-secured digital assets known as “Moments.” Each collectible grants fans true ownership of their favorite highlights, from rim-shattering dunks to buzzer-beaters, with every Moment permanently verifiable and stored on the Flow blockchain.

Roham Gharegozlou, CEO of Dapper Labs, said the platform’s latest evolution strengthens the connection between fans and players while setting new standards for authenticity in digital sports memorabilia. “NBA Top Shot was built to bring fans closer to the sport they love,” he said. “This season we’re taking the next step, delivering autographs and interactive collectibles from the NBA’s next generation of stars while securing the highlights themselves on chain.”
The 2025–26 season marks a renewed focus on rookie talent, with the platform confirming that fewer than 5,000 digital rookie collectibles of Victor Wembanyama or Cooper Flagg will ever be minted. That scarcity, coupled with new collectible designs and autograph inscriptions, positions this season’s drops among the most sought-after in Top Shot’s history.
The NBA, NBPA, and Dapper Labs reaffirmed their joint commitment to the long-term preservation of digital collectibles, emphasizing that every play added to NBA Top Shot remains an enduring piece of basketball culture. For millions of collectors worldwide, the upcoming season promises an unmatched blend of technology, artistry, and sport, cementing NBA Top Shot as the digital home of basketball’s most unforgettable moments.
