England goalkeeper Jordan Pickford has reached an agreement on a new contract with Everton.
The 31-year-old joined the club in 2017 for £30 million, which was a record transfer fee for a goalkeeper in the UK at that time.
Sources have informed reporters that an official announcement will be made soon.
Pickford’s current contract runs until 2027, and he has been named Everton’s player of the year four times, including in each of the last three seasons.
His contract extension is a significant advantage for the club, which recently secured a new two-year deal for captain James Tarkowski.
Since moving from his childhood club, Sunderland, Pickford has made 329 appearances for Everton.

He has played a crucial role in helping the team maintain its Premier League status amid managerial changes, financial rule violations, and points deductions in recent years.
On the international stage, he has earned 79 caps for England and has been the starting goalkeeper for the national team since the 2018 World Cup.
Last week, Pickford set a new record previously held by Gordon Banks by achieving his eighth consecutive clean sheet during England’s 3-0 victory over Wales.
He last allowed a goal for England over a year ago, during a 2-1 Nations League loss to Greece.
