The Edo State government has issued a stern warning to land grabbers, encroachers, and speculators involved in illegal activities within the Lot A parcel of land, popularly known as Coral City, located in the Obagie acquisition area of Benin City.
The government described the notice as a final warning to all individuals and groups engaged in the sale, purchase, or development of land within the designated area.

“The entire Obagie acquisition belongs to the Edo State government,” the state government declared.
However, the government announced that plans are underway to return Lots B, C, and D of the acquisition to their original owners and occupants.
This move, the statement noted, aligns with Governor Monday Okpebholo’s commitment to the regularization of properties and the return of government-acquired lands to rightful owners.
The government emphasized that any illegal developments on Lot A (Coral City) would face demolition, and offenders would be prosecuted.
“This notice serves as a strong and final warning to all land grabbers and encroachers on government lands across the state.
“Dire consequences await anyone found engaging in such illegal activities,” the statement concluded.
