The Coalition for Good Governance in Bali/Gassol Federal Constituency of Taraba State has endorsed Rep. Ja’afaru Yakubu for another term in the House of Representatives, citing his outstanding performance and urging him to seek re-election in the 2027 general elections.
In a statement issued to journalists in Gassol Local Government Area, the group described Rep. Yakubu’s tenure as a model of effective and impactful representation, noting that he has consistently surpassed expectations since assuming office.
“Ja’afaru Yakubu has gone beyond promises to deliver real change through legislative advocacy, people-focused projects, and youth empowerment initiatives,” the coalition said.
“His work has significantly improved living conditions, especially in previously neglected and hard-to-reach areas.”
The group highlighted Rep. Yakubu’s interventions in critical sectors like infrastructure, education, and social welfare, crediting his inclusive approach with restoring public confidence in political leadership.

According to the coalition, widespread calls for Rep. Yakubu’s return to the National Assembly reflect a strong desire among constituents for continuity and sustained development.
“This endorsement is not only a recognition of his achievements but a call to secure the future of the constituency through proven and responsive leadership,” the statement added.
The coalition urged the lawmaker to respond to what it described as an “overwhelming demand” from the people to continue his work and build on the progress he has already made.
