Grammy-nominated musician and the son of Afrobeat pioneer Fela Kuti, Seun Kuti is making headlines with the launch of his new podcast.
Known for his fearless approach to social and political commentary, Seun has built a reputation as an unapologetic advocate for Africa’s people, tackling issues that many shy away from and sparking crucial conversations about what it means to be Black in today’s global landscape.
In his latest venture, “Bird’s Eye View,” Seun teams up with the influential Pan-Africanist activist Bro Diallo.
According to him, the collaboration promises to leverage their potent voices in discussions that matter, as they engage with the pressing issues facing Africans both on the continent and in the diaspora.

The podcast is produced in partnership with OkayAfrica, a platform that empowers African creatives by providing the infrastructure and reach that many need to amplify their messages.
He said the initiative comes at a pivotal time, as there has been a significant call for African celebrities to shift their focus away from consumerism and instead confront the systemic challenges impacting their communities worldwide.
By using “Bird’s Eye View” as a platform for dialogue and reflection, Seun and Bro Diallo aim to inspire thought and action among their listeners.
