President Bola Tinubu is set to recognize Governor Ahmadu Fintiri of Adamawa State, along with five other governors, at the “2025 Nigeria GovTech Public Service Awards.”
This was disclosed on Monday by Gov. Fintiri’s media aide, Miracle Musa, on his official Facebook page.
Musa said the awards ceremony will be held at the Banquet Hall of the Presidential Villa in Abuja from October 9 to 10, 2025.

The other governors to be honored are Alex Otti of Abia State, Douye Diri of Bayelsa State, Umar Namadi of Jigawa State, Dapo Abiodun of Ogun State, and Caleb Mutfwang of Plateau State.
This event will take place just eight days after Nigeria’s Independence Day celebration on October 1, 2025.
Gov. Fintiri has received numerous awards, including the recent African TV award, in recognition of his contributions to the development of Adamawa State across various sectors such as infrastructure, education, health, and agriculture.
He has also been instrumental in significantly improving security in the state.
