President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has pledged to uphold the legacy of the late former President Muhammadu Buhari, assuring Nigerians that his government will remain anchored on honesty, patriotism, accountability, and integrity.
Tinubu made the declaration on Friday during a condolence visit to Buhari’s family home in Kaduna. He was received by the former First Lady, Aisha Buhari, their son Yusuf, and other members of the family.
Speaking with deep emotion, Tinubu described Buhari as a leader whose spirit of hard work and dedication will continue to guide the nation. “Although he is gone physically, his values remain alive with us. We will continue to walk the path of honesty, patriotism, and strong character that he instilled,” Tinubu said.
