The National Examination Council (NECO) has reported that out of 1,358,339 candidates who participated in the June/July examinations, 818,492, or 60.26 percent, achieved at least five credits, including in Mathematics and English.
The results for the 2025 Senior School Certificate Examination (SSCE internal) were made public 54 days after the final exam was completed.

During a press conference in Minna, Niger State, on Wednesday, NECO Registrar, Prof. Ibrahim Wushishi, announced that among the candidates who took the June/July exams, 818,492 scored five credits or more, including mathematics and English.
He also noted that the total number of candidates who obtained five credits or more, regardless of whether they included mathematics and English, was 1,144,496, which is 84.26 percent.
